The Choreographic ensemble “Rovesniki” is the Honored folk art collective of the Culture Ministry of the Russian Federation, Classical performance ensemble of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the honoree of Leninist Komsomol, the gold medalist of Peace Foundation, the honoree and gold medalist of M.V. Lomonosov, the laureate of all-Russian and international festivals of UNESCO.
The Choreographic ensemble “Rovesniki” is a leading children’s ensemble of Amur region and the Far East. The ensemble was found in 1967 by the PhD in Padagogy and the honoured worker of culture Vyacheslav Vasilievich Beloglazov.
Since 1994, the art director and the main dance producer is the ensemble graduate, the honoured worker of culture of the Russian Federation, the Honorary Worker of General Education of Russia, the honoree of “For good achievement in culture” sign Elena Vladimirovna Fedina.
There are 500 children in the ensemble aged 4 to 18.
The basis of the repertory of “Rovesniki” is Russian folk dancing and suites, and also dancing of world nations. The ensemble popularizes Russian culture, preserves and increases national traditions.
The “Rovesniki” concert program is accompanied by the orchestra of 23 professional musicians headed by the honoured worker of Russian culture, the Standout of public education Aleksandr Vasilievich Getman.
